Library Services

Text Messaging

You can keep up-to-date with your library account by signing up via Shoutbomb at this link.  Please note that while the Library does not charge a fee to use the Shoutbomb service, your mobile phone service plan standard text messaging rates apply.

Computers and Wi-Fi

There are multiple computers available at both libraries to be used for Internet access. All computers have Microsoft Office installed.

Internet computers may be used for one hour and if no one is waiting, the time may be extended for an additional hour. Anyone with a library card from any Central Illinois library may use the library computers.  Guest passes are available for adults 18 and over who do not have a library card.

Anyone under the age of 18 years must have a parent come into the library to sign an Internet agreement before access is allowed.

Printing is available from the Internet computers at a cost of $0.10 a page for black and white and $0.25 a page for color.  Color printing is only available at the Main Library.

Wireless Internet access is available at the Main and Branch Library locations at no charge.
