UPDATE: All of our tax appointment slots are now full.

We have limited tax appointments available at the Main Library courtesy of AARP! Appointments will be a bit different this year.

1. Appointments can be scheduled in person or by calling the library at (309) 444-2241.
2. Every tax filer will have two appointments scheduled one week apart (at the same time slot).
   • Appointment 1- You will bring in everything you need to file your taxes and your already filled out information packet*.
   • Appointment 2- (which will be at the same time a week later) You will review and sign your completed return.

*Prior to your first appointment, you must have the information packet already filled out.  There WILL NOT be time to fill it out at your first appointment. Information packets are available for pick up at the information desk at the Main Library.

While in-person events are still suspended at WDL due to COVID-19, we still have plenty going on!  Here is the run-down of what’s going on this month.

• Join Miss Ali on Facebook Live Jan 6th for a Star Wars Storytime!
• Thursday, January 7th is our monthly Craft & Activities Pickup, for all ages.
• Pick up for Storytime Kits is Monday, January 18.
• Pick up for Tween Bullet Journaling Kits is Thursday, January 21. Registration is Required. Call 309-444-2241 to Register
• Winter Facebook Live Storytime will start on January 29th and continue every Friday through March 26.
• Facebook Live crafts and activities for the month include Mini Lightsabers, Sparkly Winter Painting, Owl Hand Warmers, Birdseed Feeders, Sock Snowmen, Bullet Journaling
• All ages Cabin Fever Reading Challenge begins January 20.
