2019 Super Bowls
Every January, Friends of Washington Library (FOWL) sponsors the Super Bowls silent auction. We ask patrons and businesses to donate any themed basket of items to display for two weeks. These “bowls” make wonderful birthday gifts and Valentine’s surprises. Popular themes are sports, food and wine packages, new baby baskets, quilting items, coffees and teas, spa products, reading-themed items, etc.
This year we encourage people to donate “services” like a year of homemade cookies, a day of yard work, etc. As with all FOWL projects, all proceeds help the library to add to its collection and sponsor events.
Bring Super Bowls to the Main Library from January 14-20. They will be displayed January 21-February 2. Questions? Call Sue at 444-7621.
Riverfront Museum Pass
Thanks to sponsorship from the Peoria Riverfront Museum’s Visionary Society, Washington District Library cardholders
