  • The drop boxes at the Main Library are now open for materials return. The drop box at the Branch Library will remain closed until May 26.
  • The due date for all items checked out before March 18th is July 1st.
  • Only items owned by Washington District Library can be placed on hold.
  • We will call you when your hold is available; no emails will be sent.
  • There is a 10-item limit per card.
  • Returned items will have to be quarantined for seven days once they are returned. This means items will remain checked out on your account for seven days after you return them. To place holds, you can either do it right now by searching for the items in our catalog and placing the hold using your library card number and PIN. Or, beginning May 26th you can call the library at 309-444-2241 between the hours of 10 and 6. Thanks!

    • Hi Cheryl,

You can return your magazines in the outside drop box at either the Main or Sunnyland Branch libraries.

  2. Does the main or branch library have free copy of Rules of the Road booklet available via curbside pickup…and what year is it? We already have a 2018 issue. Driver’s license renewal study guide/rules

    • Hi Cheryl,
We have a 2019 Rules of the Road that you can pick up. I will place it at the drive-through window for you to pick up during our curbside pickup hours.
