Storytime Descriptions

Baby Bounce (0-24 Month Olds)

This music class includes interactive songs, instrument play, sign language, and more. The goal is to help build a strong base for language development and help your little one prepare for a storytime setting!

Little Listeners (2-3 Year Olds)

A beginning experience of listening to stories, learning simple finger rhymes and enjoying puppet play in a group setting, all from the security of a parent’s or caregiver’s lap! Each session lasts approximately 20 minutes with an opportunity to select books and play afterwards.

Together Time & Ready Readers (3-6 Year Olds)

By sharing the fun and excitement of a good story, the children are exposed to a variety of library books and materials. In addition to reading picture books, storytime also features flannel board stories, cut and tell stories, finger rhymes and puppets. Coupled with reading at home, storytime gives children a sound foundation in learning how rewarding books and the library can be!
