You can create an account in Beanstack at anytime to start tracking your reading and participate in our reading challenges! It is available 24/7 through your computer or mobile device. It includes book and activity logging, badges and registration for all members of the family under one account. Simply register one time to participate in library-sponsored reading programs and activities all year round!

The concept is simple; the rewards are priceless. Read a book (any book) to your baby, toddler, or preschooler. The goal is to have read 1,000 books before your little one starts kindergarten. This program promotes reading readiness, a love of reading, and a great opportunity for bonding that will create life-long memories for both of you.

100 books before graduation

Read 100 books before graduation, log your reading in Beanstack, and earn badges, buttons, and prizes! Every 10 books earn you an entry into a grand prize drawing for a smartwatch. A new winner is drawn at the end of every school year and your entries roll over to the next year until you graduate

Plant a Seed, Read this summer!
Read 15 hours to complete the challenge and earn your choice of Completion Prize. Each hour and activity you log earns you badges and tickets to put in for prize drawings. Read past the 15 hours for more chances to win.
What Counts as Reading?
Read whatever you want! This includes books, magazines, ebooks, audiobooks, books you read to someone, books someone reads to you, and more!

Help restock W.H.I.P. (Washington Helps Its People)!
W.H.I.P. is a volunteer organization that provides food for people in the 61571 area code. For more information about items they need, click on the individual activity badges.
